Suite au succès de son premier album instrumental MG acclamé par la critique, Martin Gore, auteur-compositeur et membre fondateur du mythique groupe Depeche Mode, est de retour et en pleine forme avec cet EP instrumental. Produit, écrit et enregistré en 2020 au Electric Ladyboy Studio à Santa Barbara, en Californie, The third chimpanzee propose cinq titres à la production riche et féroce, mêlant new wave et tranches d’electro amtosphérique.
